My schedule for today, for the heck of it:

12.10 - 1.40 p.m. - Penitential Service at St Patrick's School (Sec), 319 boys, other priests from the East District assisting.

3.30 p.m. - Baptism preparation (private)

6.15 p.m. - Mass

8.00 p.m. - Parish newsletter meeting

This doesn't include the countless other admin items and seemingly never-ending background tasks that still call out for my attention! So, don't ever say we priests have nothing to do or why we are sometimes never at our desks to answer phonecalls...
