The 10-year Itch

Here's something 'encouraging' that I can't help wondering if there really is a 10-year itch:

Rector: The truth is you can never tell yourself there is only one thing you could be. If you're a priest or if you're married, its the same challenge. You cannot make a real commitment until you accept that it is a choice that you keep making again and again and again. I've been a priest for over forty years and I fell in love at least once every decade.



Father Finn: You're not gonna tell me what to do here are you?



Rector: No. God will give you an answer.

I shall be hitting the great 40 in a few months time, though not necessary being a priest for that similar amount of time. Still, does that mean I'm gonna be having a very looonng talk with the Big Man soon?...
