Take an Examination

A few more minutes before I begin my spiritual direction with a parishioner. This is after my Mandarin class for the next Chinese mass for the Assumption. While the day was relatively quiet, so far, it was never without something to do. At this point in time, my counter seems to be making some people to wonder when it will reach a certain 'magical' number and now tempts them to assist in reaching there with some 'refresh' exercise.



Perhaps a better exercise in creativity may be found here. I am no Harry Potter fan but the idea for this exercise can be an enlightening one to see how far we would go with our desires. Govern by many things in life, things which may have a hold on us and others which come and go, we sometimes are not aware just how much we may be affected by them. Until we really sit down, that is, and examine our consciences and see what we are really doing with ourselves.



Life need not be like that. If it is within our means to bring about the needed transformation for the better, then it is best we do something about it.
